Am I the only one that did not watch a single minute of the swearing in of the new president? I did not watch one minute nor did I watch any re-runs of it. I just could not watch it. I did see though that Mrs. Obama did wear a $1,500.00 dress to the event. I could not stomach more campaign speeches from Obama because it makes me want to throw-up. Where are all the liberals yelling and screaming that Obama spent $170,000,000 on the event when the country is in dire straights? Where are all the liberals that screamed that Sara Palin spent so much money of her wardrobe during the campaign? The hypocracy is laughable but those on the left will not see it. When President Bush was throwing his second inaugeration, the democrats sent a letter to him asking him to not spend that much because the country was at war. Did those same democrats ask Obama to do that because not only are we still at war but the country is in ecomonic decline? No! Is this not hypocritical? Yes! Where are the liberals to protect us all! They were all in D.C. for the big show for show is all it was - no substance at all - although I know that without seeing it because I know the empty words that Obama speaks. Obama is not the messiah althought the MSM believes him to be so - and despite that fact it does not make him so. Obama is a man and one that has sold his soul to get where he is. Remember, false gods will look and act like a real one but the false ones can be shown to be false by their actions and Obama has already done that in his first 3 days in office. God help us!
Obama has signed three excutive orders already. The first one is the review and disposition of individuals detained at Gitmo and he ordered that Gitmo be closed. Do you feel safe now? Obama wants the Geneva Convention to be followed but it is out dated and can only tie the hands of those that follow it. That fact, in and of itself, requires nations not to follow it. The Geneva convention means "the Convention for the Amelioration of the Condition of the Wounded and Sick in Armed Forces in the Field". I don't know much but I don't think the terrorists are "Armed Forces in the Field". They do not wear uniforms and no country actually accpets them as theirs. Geneva convention also means "the Convention relativoe to the treatment of prisoners of war". Again, I don't know about you, but the terrorists are not prisoners of war under this convention because they are not part of an Armed Force and the senate has not declared war on anyone. The excutive order says that all individuals contained at Gitmo fall under this definition. Can everyone see where this is going? If you knew that your neighbor wanted to kill you but the police had them in jail, would you be okay if the police just let him go? Or how about that the police let him go and drop him off at your door and give him a gun? Would that be okay?
The excutive order continues that some of these terrorists have been detained for between 4-6 years and that "significant concerns raised by the detentions, both within the U.S. and internationally, prompt an approriate dispostion of the terrorists and the CLOSURE of the base." When did it become the policy of the U.S. to close a naval base because we hold terrorists that want to kill us in confined space? This is just rediculous. Cannot every one see this? How does the closure of this base further the national security of the U.S. and the foreign policy of the U.S. Obama has not defined the foreign policy of the U.S. If it is to be nice to the terrorists then the excutive order does promote and protect the foreign policy of the U.S.
The policy is to determine the best disposition for those detained at the base. Who is going to take into their country suspected terrorists besides countries that promote and protect terrorists? None! So, what we are doing is just giving to the countries that allow terrorism to thrive the people that will help the cause. We are allowing killers to go free to do more damage to the people of the U.S and other free people around the world. Obama thinks that being nice to terrorists will make them like us. I think he needs to learn something about the terrorsits - either you convert to Islam or you die. There is nothing more that needs to be known.
How about this - for all those that voted for Obama and wanted Gitmo closed, how about these killers be allowed to live in your home with you? How about even letting some live at the White House? No! Hypocrits! These people we detain want to kill us! Get that? They want to kill you, you followers of Obama. You might as well hand them the gun, put it to your head, and say please with a smile on your face for nothing will stop them from pulling the trigger. I hope you supporters of this executive order sleep better knowing that these killer will be free again to plan and strive for their purpose - to kill us. Thank you for protecting me and my family Obama. May you enjoy the last ring of Dante's Hell. Interrogation works and if the detainees want to kill us, then do what it takes to protect us for even a person protecting their family will not be guilty of any crime since self-defense and the defense of the family will protect them from culpability.
Again, if these people have been wrongly detained, then let them come and live among us. If the U.S. has just been wrong in detaining these people, then just let them go in the U.S. I am sure they will become good citizens and will conform to our society. In fact, let some of the meanest live at the White House with the messiah. No! What do you mean there is no room at the Inn........
God help us for this is only the beginning.......I just hope it is not the beginning of the end........
